Tawkwell is a modern social platform designed to support meaningful interaction, content sharing, and community formation at scale. From inception, the system was architected to handle real users, real traffic, and real operational constraints.

The Problem

Many social platforms collapse not because of lack of users, but because of architectural shortcuts taken too early.

Tawkwell was intentionally designed to avoid these failure modes before the first user registered.

Architecture & System Design

API-First Backend

Stateless services enabling horizontal scaling and future mobile clients without rewrites.

Optimized Data Modeling

Relational schemas designed specifically for social graphs, feeds, and high read/write ratios.

Caching & Performance

Multi-layer caching reduces database pressure and keeps response times stable under load.

Asynchronous Workflows

Notifications, media processing, and background jobs run asynchronously to protect core user flows.
